The men of Alabama Gardens

This is a photo of the main gardeners and organizer of Alabama Gardens, the oldest community garden in Houston, TX.  It was founded in 1985 and is sustained solely by the $5 rent for each of the 56 plots available to community members.  It's part of a series documenting community gardeners in Houston that started in August of 2010.

First Draft of an Album Design-Houston Wedding Photographer, Wedding Albums, The Woodlands Photographer

This is the first draft of an album for this client.  I like it.  There might be a few changes of  photo choices since she told me to use the highlights I posted from her wedding.  I added a few here and there like the parent photos.  Typically people put one page of photos with parents in albums but nowadays that is also less common if the bride and groom just want "candids" and no formal on the altar photos of the family.  It really depends on the taste of the bride and groom.   If you click on the individual photos they become larger.  That's handy with these album pages on my blog.  There is another post of albums way down the history line. 

Instead of the names one could add a poem or saying.

Jessica and Chris have known each other for most of their lives.  Apparently they fought in 5th grade all the time so when they got together in High School no one would have predicted that...but we know we all change.  Their wedding was at St Bartholomew Catholic Church in Katy and their reception was at Willow Fork Country Club.  There are so many fun photos from their reception and throughout the day and I'll post more but their ceremony was particularly lovely and also I love the photos of them in front of the church.  The sky was perfect with the clouds behind the church.  Enjoy!
