Sumer and Dustin-The Woodlands Engagement Photography

This gorgeous couple is getting married in Mexico June of 2012! Again, there were so many great photos of the two of them and I chose my absolute favorites! They are all shot with my 50 mm 1.2 lens...love this new lens! It really blurs out the background and creates some creamy colors. There are a couple other photos not featured here on my Facebook page! Enjoy!

Kinsmen Lutheran Preschool Portraits-Child Photography

I was invited to come take some preschool portraits at a private preschool in Champion Forest and this is a sample of the set up for all the classes. It was so cute. The kids were great!

Dennis and Laura-Houston Engagement Photography

Dennis and Laura are getting married at Disney World this winter and they hired me to do their engagement photos and also take some family portraits! Their little Gwen is 18 months old so she didn't last very long after she figured out that her parents wanted her to look at the camera and sit with them. She is so cute. There are just a few of my favorites! I always have soo many I love of the couples and families I photograph.

Rebecca and Martin's Wedding in Austin, TX

Rebecca and Martin decided to accept their uncle and aunt's offer to have their wedding at their house in Austin.  They had wanted a backyard wedding and a gourmet hot dog picnic and chose the theme of bees and honey.  Rebecca and Martin chose well for who they are.  They were able to be light hearted and casual all day.  Their ceremony was rained out so they had to do the ceremony inside the house and not outside on the deck.  I think she was a little disappointed but that quickly faded into the big smiles she had ALL day! I've almost never seen a bride with so many big smiles and so relaxed on her wedding day.  Martin also was so happy and their families were so warm and loving.  They were so supportive of the two of them and really made the wedding a family affair literally taking care of every detail themselves including putting all their furniture in the garage to make room for the guests and wedding decorations.  It's not something everyone would do, not because they love their children any less, but this was the way that they chose to celebrate and it made them shine in love!  Enjoy!  By the way, my blog is freaking out and not putting the photos in order...I'm really sorry.
The cakes were from "Nothing Bundt Cakes" in Austin and they ordered them the day before and stacked three big ones to form the bridal cake.

Rebecca had a big smile like this most of the day and I love these candids of her after she put her veil on.

Bridesmaids and wedding shoes in style!

Little bees were everywhere in the details and in her hair too!
An aunt made the flowers.

Adriel, the maid of honor, stitched her handkerchief.
They kept their rings in his golf shoes and thus made this to carry their rings into the ceremony.

Gorgeous dress tea length and so classy!

Aggie Man!

The groom and his best man have been best buddies for life and neighbors growing up!

The cakes.  The groom's cake was supposed to resemble the Aggie bonfire.

Rebecca was an art education major and she created the art work that was on display all over the house with the bees and honey theme.
