When I met with Megan she said to me that Andy and her were not very good at taking photos. They are both scientists and not comfortable with the camera and I think she said something like, they weren't good at "looking cute". Well...their photos turned out pretty cute and they were so easy to photograph. Granted, Andy was about to jump out of his skin before the ceremony so the guys took him ice skating to try to get him to relax and as you can see we had fun with the photos despite his nervousness. After the ceremony I couldn't get these two to stop kissing but then again why would I? They were so happy to be married. It was so sweet to witness. I always feel lucky to share those moments with the bride and groom and their families.
The wedding was at Westminster United Methodist Church which was literally 4 minutes from their reception venue, Courtyard at St James. Both venues were really nice to work with and
The Courtyard at St James had the most helpful coordinator I've run into in a long time. She really helped keep the flow of the evening going. Traditionally at the church photographers have only been allowed in the choir seating but the coordinator of the day allowed me on the sanctuary floor so that was a nice surprise.
The cake they had was so tasty!
Who Made the Cake was the designer and I highly recommend that cake maker as the cake was so delicious and moist. Her beautiful dress was by Augusta Jones and her shoes by Calvin Klein.
It was a fun evening and day! Congratulations Megan and Andy!
