These are some of the latest photos that I created in the spirit of my "The Gardeners Project" in conjunction with Ecotone for use in the Awareness Campaign, "Showing Houston Growing Green". I think they are great! I love the black and white and these are very special people in Houston! Many of them are gardeners and all are directly related to Houston's sustainability movement/"Green" movement.

The Gardeners Project continues

Here are some new photos to add to my collection of people doing "small acts creating great things" like community farms. This series of photos comes from the people of The Last Organic Outpost farm in the Fifth Ward in Houston, TX. It was started by Joe Icet and then he met and married Marcella Murff Icet who has helped give new energy to the farm and events that happen there. You should definitely check it out and head over to their farm.

Nicque

Nicque is a friend of mine that is undergoing chemotherapy now for breast cancer. We took these photos before she started chemo in preparation for her to go through all that she has to go through to be strong during this time in her life. She wants to document the changes and journey she is going through during her process with cancer. She is beautiful woman and doing very well.
