I wanted to take some fun photos of kids in the studio so we started out with each one making funny faces and then one serious face. It was fun. The kids enjoyed it and there was a lot of laughter. Natalie is 5 and she had a doll with a matching outfit which she held onto a little and and Ryan is the middle child and was a little more difficult to get to look at the camera but he loved making funny faces. Blake is 11 and he was the mature older brother, very kind and very sweet.

Cassaundra and Michael
Cassaundra and Michael are getting married in September and I have a feeling their wedding is going to be very beautiful and she is going to be a beautiful bride! I'm really excited to photograph their wedding and get some gorgeous photos of the bride as well and the groom. Aren't they are gorgeous couple?
We photographed at Hermann Park, which was my first time there since I am new to the Houston area. It reminded me of parks in Europe so I was living in fantasy land with the benches next to the ponds and the tree lined walkways.
These are a few of my favorites and it is always hard to choose. I didn't fuss around with the color much because I just liked the way it was naturally and I love the trees! For me it is more important to photograph relationship rather than fashion or grunge. I realize that is it cool to photograph in alley ways and I do love those photos as well but I don't like photos next to dumpsters or garbage cans. I think photographers have gone too far with the grunge look when they are having couples sit next to dumpsters looking cool and the couple isn't even looking at each other. What is that saying about the beginning of this new relationship? Anyhow, whether you agree with me or not it is just my opinion and I realize fashion and style have nothing to do with relationship sometimes.
